Edward Engberg, CPA

Edward Engberg is a Partner in our Hartford, Connecticut office with more than 15 years of experience in public accounting. Edward is an Outside-the-Box thinker who looks to bring value to all engagements. Edward specializes in providing assurance and advisory services to the real estate (commercial and affordable housing), nonprofit, and manufacturing industries. Alongside his work at Whittlesey, Edward is the firm’s Real Estate niche leader. He also serves as a member of the firm’s nonprofit and manufacturing practices.

Edward holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University. He also pursues continuing professional education in accounting and auditing practices. Edward is the treasurer of CREW CT and the former treasurer of the Affordable Housing Alliance of CT and Latino Community Services. Edward was named one of Hartford Business Journal’s “Forty Under 40” in 2021. He is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Edward is a licensed Certified Public Accountant with the State of Connecticut.
