Michael J. Pyne, CPA

Michael Pyne joined Whittlesey in 2015 and has more than 25 years of experience in public accounting. Michael’s practice specialization is in providing income tax, estate tax, gift tax, and financial consulting to closely held companies and their owners. He also serves the professional services, construction, manufacturing, and distribution industries. Michael was formerly a tax partner with Weinstein & Anastasio, P.C., a CPA firm based out of Hamden, CT. Michael is a licensed Certified Public Accountant with the State of Connecticut.

A graduate of the University of Connecticut, Michael is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA). He speaks extensively on tax-related topics and is a frequent presenter on income and estate tax issues to civic and professional organizations for a variety of industry sectors, including healthcare, financial institutions, construction, and nonprofits.
