Stacy Farber, CPA

Stacy Farber, CPA joined Whittlesey in 2025 as an Assurance Partner, bringing over 25 years of experience in public accounting. She has significant expertise in assurance and advisory engagements for closely held entities across industries such as manufacturing, construction, retail, franchise, and employee benefit plans. Stacy’s leadership is enhanced by her prior experience as a Chief Financial Officer and Controller for closely held businesses, giving her a unique perspective on the financial and operational challenges her clients face.

Stacy earned her Bachelor of Science in Financial Accounting from Bryant University in Smithfield, RI. She remains committed to staying at the forefront of her profession through continuing professional education in accounting, assurance, and tax issues affecting closely held businesses.

Recognized for her professional achievements, Stacy was named one of Hartford Business Journal’s 2023 Top 25 Women in Business and a 2024 CTCPA Women Distinguished Service Awardee. She is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA), where she serves as Chair of the CTCPA Employee Benefit Plan Committee and a member of the CTCPA Advisory Council. Stacy is also a past Treasurer and Board Member of Gifts of Love, reflecting her dedication to community service.
