Whittlesey Announces New Hires 

Whittlesey, a leading assurance, advisory, tax, and technology firm, is proud to welcome two new managers to our Firm. Stacey Curran, CPA, and Zachary DeFeo, CPA, are the latest managers to join the Firm’s growing leadership team.

Stacey Curran has over eight years of public accounting experience with expertise in nonprofit and healthcare organizations, financial services firms, and employee benefit plans. Before entering public accounting, she spent over a decade in the mortgage banking industry, holding operational management roles. She serves on nonprofit boards and committees and is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA) By-laws Committee, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and Bridgeport Regional Business Council. Stacey earned her Bachelor of Science in Economics from Fairfield University and Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Connecticut. 

Zach DeFeo has over ten years of public accounting experience and six years in the private sector with various tax and financial management roles. He has extensive experience in state and local tax compliance and multistate tax filing. Zach earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University, CT.
