Whittlesey Announces New Managers to Join Growing Leadership Team

HARTFORD, Connecticut – December 10, 2024

Whittlesey, one of New England's largest assurance, advisory, tax, and technology firms, is proud to welcome two new managers, Dale C. Boutot, CPA, and Sarah O’Neill, CPA. These additions to the Firm’s growing leadership team underscore its commitment to excellence, growth, and leadership across its offices.

Dale C. Boutot, CPA – Senior Tax Manager

Dale C. Boutot has joined Whittlesey as a Senior Tax Manager in the Hartford, Connecticut office, bringing over 20 years of experience in public accounting. Specializing in closely held businesses and their owners, Dale provides comprehensive tax, assurance, and consulting services tailored to their unique needs.

Dale is an active member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Central Connecticut State University and pursues ongoing professional education to stay abreast of industry developments.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Dale is dedicated to community service. He serves on the Board of Directors at Seabury, Inc. and participates in the Watch D.O.G.S. program at Greene Hills School, promoting student success through family engagement.

Sarah O’Neill, CPA – Tax Manager

Sarah O’Neill has joined Whittlesey’s Hamden, Connecticut, office as a Tax Manager. With more than five years of public accounting experience, including time at a global firm, Sarah specializes in federal and state tax compliance, serving clients in the consumer products, manufacturing, and professional services industries.

A licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Connecticut, Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Quinnipiac University. She is committed to professional growth and excellence through continuing education and active membership in the CTCPA and AICPA.
