Whittlesey’s Kimberly Napp Named Hartford Business Journal’s Top 25 Women in Business

HARTFORD, Connecticut – April 1, 2024

Whittlesey partner Kimberly Napp was named one of the Hartford Business Journal’s Top 25 Women in Business. Kim has over 20 years of experience in public accounting service and joined the Firm in 2003. She has become the first woman Partner-in-Charge of Assurance, the Firm’s largest department, overseeing the audit team’s overall operations.

Kim has devoted most of her career to serving nonprofits and credit unions. She is co-founder and co-leader of the Women of Whittlesey group, a Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce Non-profit Resource Council member, and a Bushnell Board of Ambassadors member. She also leads the Firm’s Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Light the Night Walk team and coaches and mentors the Firm’s staff. Kim earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting, with a Minor in Women’s Studies, at Bentley College and her Master of Business Administration at the University of Hartford. 

The Women in Business awards, hosted annually by the Hartford Business Journal, honor women who are leading the way in their fields. Winners will be celebrated at the Aqua Turf Club on May 2, 2024.
