Whittlesey’s Kimberly Napp Named One of CTCPA’s Distinguished Women Award

Whittlesey partner Kimberly Napp was named one of the Connecticut Society of CPAs (CTCPA) Distinguished Women. The award recognizes the many contributions CPA women are making in the state.  

Kim has over 19 years of public accounting service and joined the Firm in 2003. She specializes in assurance services for nonprofits organizations and credit unions. She is Whittlesey’s Quality Control Officer, co-founder and co-leader of Women of Whittlesey, and a member of the New Haven Chamber Non-profit Resource Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce Non-profit Resource Council. She also is the captain of the Firm’s Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Light the Night Walk team and is a coach and mentor to the Firm’s staff. Kim earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting, with a Minor in Women’s Studies at Bentley College and her Master of Business Administration at the University of Hartford.

The Distinguished Service Award recognizes women CPAs at a higher level of leadership position within their organization. Winners must have made significant contributions to the profession, contributed to their community, and mentored other professionals.
