Whittlesey's Drew Andrews to Receive the CTCPA's Jack Brooks Leadership Award

HARTFORD, Connecticut – April 17, 2024

Whittlesey is proud to announce that Drew Andrews, its Managing Partner and CEO, has been honored with the 2024 Jack Brooks Leadership Award by the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA).

This accolade is awarded annually to a CTCPA member who has significantly contributed to advancing the accounting profession and strengthening the CTCPA as an organization. It commemorates the legacy of Jack Brooks, a steadfast advocate and former Executive Director of the CTCPA. Drew Andrews has been selected for his unwavering dedication and proactive engagement in the accounting community, demonstrating the core values Jack Brooks represented.

Under Drew's leadership over the past 16 years, Whittlesey has experienced remarkable growth, more than tripling its revenue and expanding its presence with three offices across Connecticut and Massachusetts. His forward-thinking strategies have greatly enhanced Whittlesey's service capabilities and client relationships.

In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Drew strongly emphasizes community service and professional development. He is a passionate advocate for the CTCPA, encouraging participation and engagement among his staff. His creation of the Hartford Managing Partners Group exemplifies his commitment to collaborative growth and professional excellence within the industry.

Drew is also a committed philanthropist actively involved in leadership roles with various local nonprofits. He has instilled a spirit of giving back to the community through Whittlesey’s annual Community Day and other initiatives, reinforcing the firm’s role in social responsibility.
